With loads of spare time filling my days, instead of patients, I noticed our hand-me-down furniture could use a new coat of paint, a fresh layer of stain, a refresh. I bought a sander, one paint brush, a quart of Varathane stain, and a quart of emerald green paint from Home Depot. And got to work.
